ENGLISH III Honors

Prerequisite: English I & II and completion of assigned summer assignments prior to admission.
Grades 11
1/2 credit per semester
Language and Composition: emphasis on recognizing syntax, diction, tone, and imagery in non-fiction texts, although fiction will also be utitlized, and in writing coherent responses addressing those elements in selected texts. Emphasis on formal writing as opposed to personal essays.
