The Lovelady I.S.D. cafeteria serves breakfast and lunch to all students PK-12th grade daily. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. for elementary students, and 8:40 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for junior high & high school students. Lunches begin at 10:25 and proceed until 12:55. Students may bring breakfast or lunch to school, or purchase meals from the cafeteria.

Our Child Nutrition Program implements the Offer vs. Serve program.  This allows a student to choose another food option, or refuse one component option at breakfast, and two at lunch, that they might not intend to eat. This program will not affect the price of the meals, but it does help reduce food waste and food cost without jeopardizing the nutritional integrity of the meals.

Lunchroom Charging Policy- The charging of food in the Lovelady ISD lunchroom will only be allowed for up to 5 breakfast meals and 5 lunch meals. After the maximum number of 5 is reached, the student will be required to pay the bill before any more lunches or breakfasts will be charged. If any student is having trouble obtaining the money to pay for their lunch, they can obtain a free or reduced meal application from the front office or print the forms below and fill it out and turn it in for approval.
