UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition
We wanted to share with everyone some great news!!! We had 3 students who earned a bronze medal, 2 students earned a silver medal, and 1 memorize a gold piece and earn a gold medal! Musicians only earn a UIL medal by getting the highest score of a 1.
Gold Medalists: Tydarion Jefferson |Tydarion is only the 2nd student in LISD Band history to earn a gold medal and ADVANCE to the State Solo and Ensemble Competition at the end of May!
He will be working towards earning another gold medal at the state UIL level on drum set!
